It’s my adorable nephew’s 1st birthday today and he is celebrating it with the less fortunate kids in the rural parts of my father’s town I’m so touch! I wouldn’t be surprised if he’ll turn out to be a philanthropist someday.

Last Saturday, Ayala had a mini-wedding exhibit. My eyes were literally blinking in astonishment seeing the stunning gowns, delectable wedding cakes down to their lovely bouquets. Everything was absolutely eye-catching. And I know you’ll all agree

Mini Trip To The Mall

And so because my Internet was down last Thursday, it prompted me to head to the mall to: 1. file a complaint @ Globe’s lousy service, 2. I didn’t want to be stuck and suffocate in my room, and 3. it’s a rare occasion for me to go out because of my hectic schedule.

So rather than kept whining in my cubbyhole, I took the opportunity to get some air and splurged a bit.  But that’s not without me having to raise an eyebrow a couple of times as it took the customer service clerk more than 30 f***g minutes to flirt with a plain looking foreigner. Did it sound like a rant? My apology. My Internet service provider can really give me a real headache. If only there were other available providers in my area, I would have gladly given my lousy connection up a long time ago

After my nightmare encounter at Globe, I grabbed these dirt cheap flats. Then, I’m back to my normal happy self again Indeed, shopping can really soothe any woman’s woes.

It’s Christmas Time Again

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it once more – I’m a SUCKER for Christmas!

And as it is only 46 days away, it’s the perfect time to jot down my wish-list. Besides, I wanted to give Saint Nick aka “Santa” the heads up on what to place under my Christmas tree this year

I almost got everything I’ve wanted last year except for the sewing machine So yeah, I’m still lusting for it.

Recent Gastronomic Sprees

Some weeks ago, my dearest sister, Chat, was in Cebu for an urgent company meeting at Marco Polo. And since my place was only a few blocks away from her hotel, there wasn’t an excuse not to bond.

As I’ve mentioned before, she easily goes banana over shopping. But lo! She didn’t even spent a single centavo the last time she was here. I teased her to no end which was reciprocated with a mere smirk. I guess she had become a practical spender or perhaps she didn’t just have enough money at that time

Anyhoo, we spent some time in Ayala and ate at my favorite inexpensive Korean chain, Hwany.

For beerholics, this will probably cause them to celebrate. But for the likes of me who’s never fond of this bitter beverage, I felt letdown
